4TH ANNUAL WINDERMERE FINE ART SHOW

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3, in downtown Windermere. Featuring more than 95 fine-art artists from Windermere and around the U.S., the event will include live entertainment, food, wine and beer, and performing arts around the Town Square and Main Street sidewalks. 11TH ANNUAL FIDDLER’S GREEN 5K

7:30 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at Mead Botanical Garden, 1300 S. Denning Drive, Winter Park. This fun run/walk is hosted by Fiddler’s Green Irish Pub & Eatery, and proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Winter Park/Maitland and CECO. The race starts at Mead Botanical Garden and meanders through Winter Park, returning to finish back at Mead. From there, participants are invited back for a beer and some fun at Fiddler’s. EVENING AT THE POPS

5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Newton Park, 31 W. Garden Ave., Winter Garden. Enjoy an evening under the stars and a night of music provided by the UCF Symphony Orchestra and hosted by the Rotary Club of Winter Garden. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $75 for VIP. HAMLIN BALLOON FESTIVAL

5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at 14111 Shoreside Way, Winter Garden. Experience a spectacular sunset over Lake Hancock. Balloon rides last about five minutes, and each balloon can carry up to five guests. Food booths are available as well. Event is wind- and weather-permitting. Tickets are $20 per person per ride and are available at events.eventzilla.net.

 

41ST ANNUAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, along Park Avenue in Winter Park. The city of Winter Park and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee are proud to present the 41st annual Winter Park St. Patrick’s Day Parade. For information, call (386) 785-6965.
