The only thing louder than the gunfire was the laughter during Mosaic Church’s annual mother/son Nerfaganza Aug. 22 in the Oakland church’s sanctuary.
Mothers, grandmothers, aunts and other female adult role models joined boys of all ages for an all-out foam frenzy. To refuel, the assault teams munched on sandwiches, cookies and other treats before heading back into the war zone.
In all nearly 200 combatants participated in this year’s battle.
