Windermere teen found unconscious, pronounced dead

Teenager Victoria Siegel died the afternoon of June 6, after Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies found her unconscious in her Windermere home, Officer Jeff Williamson said.

Officials at Health Central Hospital pronounced her dead, and medical personnel are cooperating with investigators to figure out how she died.

Investigators learned from David Siegel, father of the deceased, that he intends to make a statement in the days to come but desires family privacy at this time, Williamson said.

David Siegel and his wife, Jackie, were in a documentary, "The Queen of Versailles."
