OCSO cruiser flips over in Winter Garden

WINTER GARDEN -- At about 10:45 a.m. on May 11, an Orange County Sheriff's Office cruiser crashed and flipped over in the 300 block of North Dillard Street, in the vicinity of Dillard Street Elementary School.

A rescue team was able to safely get a deputy out of the vehicle, where the deputy was trapped for a short time, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.

The deputy suffered no injuries, Orange County Fire Rescue officials said.

The crash scene has remained active, so in the meantime, drivers should stay clear of North Dillard Street around East Tilden Street until the scene is clear.
