“Musical Vibrations” Opening Reception
5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the WGHF History Research and Education Center, 21 E. Plant St., Winter Garden. The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation celebrates music with artworks featuring musical instruments, song titles and colorful abstracts representing musical topics. Exhibition runs until Oct. 31. Between the Brushes
Children are invited to create Jack-O-Lantern Gourds from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 3, at The Art Room, 709 Main St., Windermere. This is sure to become a family keepsake — each takes on its own personality. Children will use natural gourds grown on a farm in Georgia. Open to children in grades kindergarten and up. Cost is $60. Creative Photography for Adults
