The Ocoee Fire Department and the Citizens Advisory Council for the Ocoee Fire Department hosted an open house Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to educate residents on hurricane and storm preparedness. Firefighters greeted everyone with a smile as members of the Citizens Advisory Council for the Ocoee Fire Department handed out free food and drink.
Attendees also had the chance to tour Ocoee Fire Station No. 25 and see the station's new equipment as well as register to receive first aid supply kits and weather radios that were given away as prizes during the event.
