WINTER GARDEN After Hurricane Matthew derailed many of West Orange High School’s Homecoming festivities — including the traditional parade through downtown Winter Garden — the school finally crowned its 2016 Homecoming queen and king Oct. 27 before the football game against Wekiva.
After a riding into Raymond Screws Stadium in convertibles, Kami Collazo and Timothy Ye were crowned this year’s queen and king on the 50-yard line.
Following the coronation, the Warrior faithful took their places in the stands and on the sidelines for some Thursday night football action.
