Oakland Town Commission to meet Tuesday, Aug. 22

Meetings take place at 7 p.m. in Historic Town Hall, 220 N. Tubb St., Oakland, and are open to the public.

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its next regular twice-monthly meeting Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Elected officials are set to hear updates on the town’s wastewater rate and impact fees, and they will discuss changing the town garbage rate.

The commission will look at a petition regarding street paving on a portion of East Henschen, as well.
