17 men arrested in Osceola County child sex sting

Two of the 17 men arrested Wednesday were from Winter Garden and Windermere.

ORANGE COUNTY – Two men from the West Orange area were arrested during a 40-hour undercover operation led by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office Wednesday.

A total of 17 men were arrested during the child sex sting and charged with soliciting sex from a child via the internet. Justin Taubensee, 21, of Winter Garden, and Julian Santos-Ayala, 24, of Windermere, were among the suspects arrested.

The operation, which was conducted as a part of the Central Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, saw undercover detectives posing as juveniles online and talking with individuals in chat rooms and instant messaging programs, according to a press release from the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

The suspects then traveled to a predetermined location in Osceola County with the intention of having sex with a child.

The operation involved the cooperation of multiple law-enforcement agencies, including the Kissimmee Police Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Lake County Sheriff's Office, Manatee County Sheriff's Office, Orlando Police Department, Orange County Sheriff's Office, Polk County Sheriff's Office, Altamonte Springs Police Department, Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Clermont Police Department and the Sanford Police Department.

“Children are our most precious resources, and we at the Osceola Sheriff’s Office will do everything within our power to protect children from the evil doers who would seek to prey on them,” said Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson said in the release. “I am pleading with all parents and guardians out there to take an active role (in) their children’s internet activities, to include whom they’re having conversations with and what websites they’re visiting. Their lives and well-being could very well depend on it.”

All of the suspects were arrested in Osceola County and booked into the Osceola County Jail.

The following suspects were arrested during the operation:

  • Travis White, 22, from Orlando was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex. 
  • Jonathan Rosario-Ortiz, 25, from St. Cloud was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex.
  • Carl Carey, 25, from Orlando was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex and resisting arrest without violence.
  • Julian Santos-Ayala, 24, from Windermere was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Freddy Ortega-Yagual, 32, from St. Cloud was charged traveling to meet a child for sex and resisting arrest without violence.
  • Irving Lennon, 46, from Orlando was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex, four counts of personal electronic transmission of information to a minor, use of a computer to seduce/lure a child, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Ronald Moore, 62, from Kissimmee, was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex.
  • Robert Bouchlas, 29, from St. Cloud was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex.
  • Louis Ottaviano, 44, from Oviedo was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex.
  • Justin Taubensee, 21, from Winter Garden was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex and personal electronic transmission of information to a minor.
  • Youssef Houlali, 30, from Kissimmee was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex and resisting arrest without violence.
  • James Johnson, 38, from Kissimmee was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex.
  • Neil Forty-Sepulveda, 23, from Kissimmee was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex, three counts of personal electronic transmission of information to a minor and the use of a computer to seduce/lure a child.
  • Drayon McMillan, 41, from Atlanta was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex. and resisting arrest without violence.
  • Emanuel Jimenez-Berrios, 30, from Kissimmee, was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex, two counts of personal electronic transmission of information to a minor and use of a computer to seduce/lure a child.
  • Brandon Jimenez, 23, from Orlando, was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex and use of a computer to seduce/lure a child.
  • Eugene Forsyth, 37, from Kissimmee was charged with traveling to meet a child for sex and three counts of solicitation of a Minor
