DR. PHILLIPS A pair of Metro Conference mainstays met on the hardwood at Dr. Phillips High August 29 for a varsity volleyball match.
The host Panthers scored a clean sweep victory (25-3, 25-15, 25-15) over the visiting Edgewater High Eagles to improve to 2-0.
Dr. Phillips junior Emily Davis led the Panthers with eight kills and senior Morgan Grillier tallied five kills. Freshman Caroline Davis had 15 digs.
