Ocoee woman rams car into group following argument

Ocoee police are searching for a woman accused of intentionally driving into a group of three people with her car.

OCOEE – Police are on the lookout for a woman who reportedly injured three individuals after intentionally ramming into the group with her car Sunday evening.

Ocoee police officers responded to the scene, Coventry Park, at approximately 6:06 p.m. in reference to a call about a disturbance, according to a news release.

Upon arriving, officers discovered three injured people, who witnesses say were struck by a car driven by Jahwah Smith, 21. Smith allegedly got in her car and intentionally drove into the group of people after arguing with one of the victims.

Smith then turned around and ran over the victims as they were lying on the ground and fled. The three victims, who sustained nonlife-threatening injuries, were transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, according to the release. 

Smith is described as a black female who was last seen driving a white Chevy. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts may contact the Ocoee Police Department at (407) 905-3160.
