It was a patriotic morning of reflection as Winter Park honored America’s veterans and heroes at the Veterans Day Celebration on Friday, Nov. 9, at the Winter Park Community Center Ruby Ball Amphitheater. The event featured music from the VFW Post 2093 Community Band led by Wilbur “Smitty” Smith and First Baptist Church of Winter Park singers Amber Forester, Hayley Pflug, Justin Horne and Nic Colarossi.
Harvey L. Massey, a retired veteran with the U.S. Army, was the featured speaker for the Veterans Day event.
