Obituary: Derek A. Steplight

Derek A. Steplight, 48, departed this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Derek, a former resident of Winter Garden, was born on May 30, 1970, and worked in the music industry. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Chardonnay Ford; father, Harold Steplight; siblings, Kinya Steplight-Murphy, Christopher Steplight; and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Tabernacle of Faith, 22646 State Road 19, Howey in the Hills. Postell’s Mortuary Pine Hills Chapel is providing service for the Steplight family.
