Ocoee to replace Flewelling water main

The city of Ocoee announced road closures will take place on Orange Avenue from Flewelling Avenue to Center Street for underground utility work. 

According to city officials, the 2-inch water main on Flewelling Avenue must be replaced. 

Only local traffic will be able to pass during construction hours, which are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, through Friday, Sept. 4. 

City officials ask commuters to use caution around crews and consider alternate routes such as Hills Avenue or Cardinal Street.
