Orange County Sheriff's Office detectives need help identifying the suspects in an armed carjacking in Horizon West.

According to Sheriff's Office reports, at about 10:10 p.m. Sept. 28, the victim pulled his Mercedes sedan into his driveway and parked his vehicle. As he exited, two suspects ran across the street and up to the driver's side door. The victim tried to retreat into his vehicle, but one of the suspects opened the car door. The second suspect pointed a gun at the victim, ordered him to get on the ground and punched him in the forehead.

The first suspect climbed into the vehicle and fled, heading southbound on Remsen Cay Lane. The second suspect entered a red vehicle across the street and followed the stolen Mercedes. In addition to the vehicle, the suspects fled with an Apple Mac laptop and a set of golf clubs.

One suspect is described as a slim-build Hispanic/white male. He was wearing blue jeans with a white stripe on the side, was shirtless, with a red covering across his face. The second suspect, a Hispanic/white male, was wearing a black long-sleeved jacket/shirt, blue jeans, red sneakers, black hat and a red shirt covering the face.

Anyone who knows the suspects or has any information should call CrimeLine, 1-800-423-8477, or the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, (407) 836-4357.
