Town of Windermere hosting grand opening for new facilities

The ceremony will include guided tours as well as catering from downtown Windermere businesses Dixie Cream Café and Tim’s Wine.

The Town of Windermere will celebrate the completion of the new administration, police department and public works facilities with a grand opening this week. 

The ceremony will include guided tours as well as catering from downtown Windermere businesses Dixie Cream Café and Tim’s Wine.

The 11,000 square foot state-of-the-art facilities will aid town staff in safety, security and efficiency while also allowing the Windermere Police Department to obtain national law enforcement accreditation.

The grand opening will take place from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, at 614 Main St.
