The Eight Waves nonprofit is in its early stages of creating the I AM Children's Museum, which is a hands-on, play-based space where kids can create, build and explore interactive exhibits designed for all ages.

"Our goal is to create something meaningful for the entire community—a place families return to, schools can connect with and children can discover what they’re capable of," Eight Waves posted online.

To do that, the nonprofit has created a survey to hear from community members.

"It is completely anonymous and there are no right or wrong answers—we simply want your honest thoughts. If you’re unsure about a question, just go with your best instinct," they said. "This is a more in-depth survey and will take 20-30 minutes. We are incredibly grateful for your time—your input will directly shape how this space comes to life."
