Pool at Ocoee Family Aquatic Facility now open for the summer

The pool at the Family Aquatic Center at Jim Beech Recreation Center now is open until Sept. 20, at 1820 A.D. Mims Road, Ocoee.

The city of Ocoee announced the pool at the Family Aquatic Facility at Jim Beech Recreation Center now is open for the summertime. 

From Saturday, May 16, through Saturday, May 30, the pool will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. 

The pool also will open for the public on Memorial Day, from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, May 25. 

The pool will be open daily from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, June 1, through Sunday, Aug. 9, 

From Monday, Aug. 10, through Sunday, Sept. 20, the pool will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays, and Sundays. 

The city of Ocoee uses certified American Red Cross lifeguards to oversee the pool during operating hours and all aquatic programs. 

The city also provides chairs and recliners on a first-come-first-serve basis throughout the pool deck. 

The daily fee is $2 for adults and $1 for infants, children and seniors. Persons with disabilities enter for free.
