Winter Garden Little League collecting goods for Venezuela

Winter Garden Little League has partnered with the Venezuelan community following the devastating earthquakes to send essential supplies directly to families in need. 

The league is accepting gently used clothing and personal care items as well as gently used baseball and softball equipment. Essential supplies will help families recover, while a glove, bat or baseball can help children be kids again, WGLL wrote. 

Collection dates are from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, and Wednesday, July 8, at Winter Garden Little League's fields 415 S. Park Ave, Winter Garden.
