SOBO hosting 'Artisans Appeal' exhibition opening reception this week

The art gallery's latest exhibition will be on display in both December and January.

The SOBO Art Gallery is back with a new exhibition which will kick off this week with an opening reception. 

The new "Artisans Appeal" gallery will showcase 2D and 3D works that depict fun or functional art, the life of being an artisan, or their appeal personally through their talent.

Featured artists will include Allison Dyer, Carol Brown, David Bloodgood, Gary Shaver, Judy Shapiro, and Tery Baker. 

The exhibition will be on display Friday, Nov. 25, through Saturday, Jan. 28, at SOBO Art Gallery, 127 S. Boyd St.

The free opening reception for the gallery will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1.
