The Azpira at Windermere assisted living and memory support community is collecting donations for first responders this holiday season.

Residents are filling stockings to present as gifts for area police officers, firefighters and paramedics.

The stocking stuffers will include goodies to help first responders keep up their stamina during the busy, and sometimes stressful, holiday season.

Requested stocking stuffers include: bottled water, candy bars, nuts, gum, granola bars, oranges or clementines, chapstick, hand sanitizer and fun socks.

Those who wish to donate items can drop them off by Monday, Dec. 12, to Azpira at Windermere, located at 13798 Speer Island Drive.

For more information, call Azpira at Windermere at (407) 305-2525 or click here.
