Locals can order from Second Harvest’s Catering for Good to support hunger relief efforts this holiday season.

Catering for Good is a full-service caterer offering high quality food and services including corporate deliveries, pickups, luncheons, weddings, holiday parties and special events.

At Thanksgiving alone, the organization prepared 481 pounds of turkey, 120 pounds of garlic mashed potatoes and 165 pounds of stuffing to fulfill 50 holiday dinner orders.

Locals have the opportunity to mix and match with menu items for holiday gatherings including a Hot Holiday Buffet, a Family Dinner To Go and a Holiday Tray selection.

With more than 2.2 million Floridians at risk of going to bed hungry every night, Second Harvest is distributing enough food for 300,000 meals a day across its seven county service areas.

The organization relies heavily on community collaborations, such as ordering from Catering for Good, to make this possible.

Second Harvest is still accepting catering orders, with the deadline being Wednesday, Dec. 14.

To place an order, contact Lanette Jarvis at (407) 514-1048 or email [email protected].
