Oakland Town Commission to meet tonight

The regular town meeting begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 28.

The Oakland Town Commission will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the Oakland Meeting Hall, 221 N. Arrington St. It also is available via Zoom.

The agenda includes approval of the proposed millage rate and budget for Fiscal Year 2022-23; several first and second public hearings on zoning, future land use and annexations; an employee recognition; and an annual update of the Oakland Nature Preserve.

The consent agenda includes numerous policies and updates for Oakland Avenue Charter School.
