Chick-fil-A is partnering with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to fight hunger in the Orlando area.

The two organizations are hosting Summer Service Days to help foster care in the community through volunteer work.

All volunteers will receive a special Summer Service Days T-shirt, a Chick-fil-A mini-plush cow and a digital offer card for a free menu item (while supplies last) as a thank you from local Orlando area Chick-fil-A operators.

Participants must wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes for every volunteer assignment with no exceptions.

The organizations are accepting children ages 10 and up for donation sorting. Children between the ages of 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult who is also volunteering and 18 years of age or older.

A minimum of two chaperones per five students is required for groups. Those who wish to make a group reservation must email [email protected]

The Summer Service Days will run on Mondays from June 6 through Aug. 1.
