Looking to partake in a fun weekend event for a good cause?

The Horizon West Golf Cart Club is hosting a poker run in April.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Ukrainian children and families through UNICEF.

During the poker run, participants will attempt to find various playing cards from a standard deck that have been spread throughout different spots in the area. As people collect cards from sponsor booths, they will attempt to create a winning poker hand that beats everyone else involved in the event.

The cost for carts to participate is $20.

The event is sponsored by Extreme Golf Cart ServiceHD Carts, State Farm Bryan Fifer and Citrus Church.

The poker run will kick off at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 15, in Horizon West.

For more information, visit the club's Facebook page here.
