Orlando Health invites locals to robotic surgery system preview in Horizon West

Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with equipment, discover the advantages of robotic surgery, and learn more about volunteer and future career opportunities.

Orlando Health is hosting a unique event in the Horizon West community next week. 

Locals are invited to the "Robotic Surgery 101: Minimally Invasive Surgery" event at the hospital. 

The robotic surgery system preview will allow residents to get a hands-on introduction to Orlando Health's minimally invasive technology and procedures.

Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with equipment, discover the advantages of robotic surgery, and learn more about volunteer and future career opportunities.

The location's hospital offers robotic surgery specialties including: General surgery, gynecological surgery, thoracic Surgery and weight loss/bariatric surgery.

A photo booth and light refreshments will also be available.

The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, at the Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital, 17000 Porter Road.
