Local organizations hosting college prep workshop

The event will cover topics such as college, trade school, scholarships, funding, FAFSA, essays and more.

Local organizations are coming together to educate students and parents on the importance of preparing for college. 

"College Prep 101: Parent Edition" will feature an open forum discussion with panel members and guest speakers touching upon topics including college, trade school, scholarships, funding, FAFSA and essays. 

The workshop will be hosted by local organizations including Guidance Guru, Ur Learning Solution, Hi-Lite Coaching and Consulting, and Legacy Events for Education.

Tickets to the event are $15 per person and can be purchased here. 

The workshop will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Orange County National Clubhouse, 16301 Phil Ritson Way.
