Windermere Police Department presenting third annual Cops & Bobbers event

Children ages 3 to 17 are invited to race minnows, fish with the police department and win prizes.

The Windermere Police Department is back this year with its third annual Cops & Bobbers event.

The event is sponsored by Get Hooked Bait & Tackle and the Windermere Police Department Foundation, Inc.

Children and families will join officers from the department for a day of fishing and fun.

Attendees ages 3 to 17 are invited to race minnows, fish with the police department and win prizes.

Those who wish to sign up for the event can click here.

Participants must print and sign a Windermere Program and Activity Release Waiver for each individual, which can be found here.

Check in will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the event kicking off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Town Hall, 520 Main St.
