West Orange High School has announced its annual Homecoming Dance will be rescheduled due to Hurricane Ian.

The dance has been rescheduled to Saturday, Oct. 15, at The House of Blues.

The event will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Those who have already purchased a ticket and are able to attend do not need to proceed with any additional steps at this time.

Warriors who have a ticket but are not able to attend should email Alicia Light at [email protected] as soon as possible to have a refund issued.

Those who do not have a ticket and would like to be placed on the waiting list should also email [email protected] with the student's first name, last name and student number.

Wait list tickets will be issued in the order that they are received by Light through student email only.

"The status of canceled Homecoming events is still to be determined," WOHS said in a Facebook post. "We will post more information once it is settled."

Families should see Canvas or class Reminds for announcements and additional ticketing information.
