Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center celebrating International Jazz Day

The free event will include food, live music, art and history.

The Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center is kicking off the weekend early with an event to celebrate International Jazz Day.

The free event will feature live jazz music with The Derrick Harris Trio on the porch of the center. 

In addition, attendees will be able to learn about the history of jazz and view jazz inspired art, as well as enjoy bites and sweet treats from the Oakland General store.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 28, at 126 W. Petris Ave. in the town of Oakland.
