Winter Garden City Commission to meet tonight

The City Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the City Hall Commission Chambers.

The Winter Garden City Commission will hold its first regular meeting of February at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the City Hall Commission Chambers, 300 W. Plant St. 

Commissioners will hear the first reading of a series of ordinances relating to the rezoning of 30.24 acres located on Tilden Road, as well as the first reading of two ordinances regarding 1.603 acres at 996 E. Plant St.

The City Commission will then hear the second reading of an ordinance that would revise a section to remove the term limits and stagger the terms for the Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board upon reappointment.

The consent agenda includes items such as a recommendation to approve a Continuing Services Agreement, a recommendation to approve two site plans and a resolution adopting rules for public input and decorum at public meetings of the City Commission.
