The Glam Lounge hosting contest for teachers

The Oakland business, owned by Illian Villegas, is encouraging locals to participate in its "Nominate Your Favorite Teacher" contest.

The Glam Lounge in Oakland is hosting a contest for teachers.

The business is encouraging locals to participate in its "Nominate Your Favorite Teacher" contest.

Community members can comment and tag their favorite teacher on The Glam Lounge's Facebook page here or on its Instagram here.

The winning teacher will receive $100 in services at The Glam Lounge and $25 toward school supplies in the form of a gift card.

Participants can tag as many teachers as they would like, as long as the teacher works in Lake or Orange County. 

A winner will be picked at random. The winner will be announced on July 31.

The Glam Lounge, owned and operated by Illian Villegas, offer services such as brow shaping, lash lifts, sunless tanning and makeup application.
