Andy's Frozen Custard is hosting a series of hiring events at the new Ocoee location starting this week.

Andy's, which first opened in 1986 in Missouri, is a quick-service frozen dessert business with more than 100 locations in 15 states.

The frozen custard chain is known for its tasty treats including concretes, jackhammers, sundaes, malts and splits.

The company is recruiting individuals for several positions at the new store, located at 1501 Maguire Road.

The events are an opportunity for interested applicants to speak with Andy’s representatives to learn more about job opportunities and the company.

"Andy’s prides itself on product quality, customer service, and community involvement and is looking for individuals to bring that philosophy to life at its newest store," the company said. "Andy’s provides more than just a job. It can be a starting point to a career and teaches the necessary skills to support success."

The first hiring event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 9.

The second hiring event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 16.

The company said it believes in work-life balance, a clean family-friendly atmosphere, a fun and safe experience with no fryers or grills, and the opportunity to grow with the organization.

Andy’s offers competitive pay, quarterly bonus opportunities and paid vacation, as well as health, dental and vision insurance.

The Ocoee location is set to open this summer.
