The West Orange Chamber of Commerce is back this week with its Celebrating Extraordinary Women event.

Locals have the opportunity to be inspired, empowered and connect with one another by listening to the experiences of some of West Orange County’s leading businesswomen.

This month's featured speakers are: Carolyn Fennell, senior director of public affairs and community relations for Greater Orlando Aviation Authority; Laura Kelley, executive director of Central Florida Expressway Authority; Casandra Matej, president, and CEO of Visit Orlando; and Karem Rodriguez, owner of The Modern Host.

The event is sponsored by AdventHealth, with Duke Energy and Orlando Health as presenting sponsors.

The event will kick off at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Windermere Town Hall, 520 Main St.

Attendees will check-in and enjoy networking with light bites and bubbles before the program begins at 4:45 p.m.

Although the event is sold out, those who wish to find out more information on future Celebrating Extraordinary Women events can click here.
