GreenPal is expanding its services into the city of Ocoee.

GreenPal, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is an app that connects homeowners with local, vetted lawn care professionals.

“After successfully launching in 250 other markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Ocoee find reliable, safe and local lawn care,” co-founder Gene Caballero said.

Homeowners have the ability to list their lawns with their service date and lawn care needs on the app. Vetted lawn care pros can then bid on their properties based on Google street, aerial images and any other lawn details the homeowner provides. Homeowners can then select who they want to work with based on the vendor's ratings, reviews and price.

Once a vendor has completed the service, the lawn care pro will send a time-stamped photo of the completed work. Homeowners can then pay via the app and set up more appointments.

The organization has currently over 1 million users signed up and using the app, as well as over 45,000 landscaping professionals who run their business on the app.

The app currently operates in a multitude of areas across the United States including Chicago, Atlanta, Tampa, Los Angeles, San Antonio, Phoenix, Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
