The First Academy has announced in a press release that football coach Jeff Conaway is the school's new director of athletics.

Conaway will continue in his role as TFA’s football coach and current director of athletics Will Cohen has been promoted to assistant head of school for campus operations.

This positional change isn't new for Conaway, before joining TFA in July 2023 he served as the AD and football Coach at Shiloh Christian School in Arkansas for nine years.

According to the press release, "Coach Conaway’s passion for sports and his commitment to TFA students' well-being make him an ideal fit for this position."

Cohen, a TFA class of 2008 graduate, will remain the school's athletic director until the two formally transition to their new roles on March 1, 2024.
