There's a new development at the Jim Beech Recreation Center in Ocoee, three brand-new pieces of playground equipment are now open to the public.

The City of Ocoee announced on its Facebook page that the playground now has a Trio Climber, a Bloqx 3 and a Supernova.

The Supernova, which is the most popular of the three installations, allows kids to play on it by turning, spinning and balancing.

While the Trio Climber is a multi-faceted climbing experience made from recycled synthetic clothing and plastic.

The Bloqx 3 is a collection of geometric-shaped blocks that are meant to be climbed on by older children.

The new play area is designed to give children ages 5 to 12 a safe and fun place to play. Learn more about the Jim Beech Rec Center, its hours, amenities and the location of other Ocoee parks at Ocoee.org/1130/Parks.
