Windermere High Athletic Director Jillian Sutton leaves for East River

Jillian Sutton is set to become East River High’s head athletic trainer after spending eight years at Windermere, the last two as the Wolverines’ athletic director.

Windermere High’s Jillian Sutton has left her role as the school’s athletic director to become the new head athletic trainer at East River High.

“We're excited to officially announce our new head athletic trainer, Jillian (Sutton),” said a post on East River Athletic’s Instagram page. “(Sutton) is a proud native of Florida and an alumna of Orange County Public Schools. … With extensive experience spanning youth and collegiate athletics, (Sutton) brings a well-rounded and dynamic perspective to her leadership in school sports programs. We are excited to welcome ATC (Sutton), as she takes over the athletic training program.”

Sutton became Windermere’s first head athletic trainer, serving in the role for six years from 2017-23. She was named Wolverines’ athletic director beginning in the 2023-24 school year.
