Special Olympics Florida will host its 2025 State Summer Games on May 16 and 17 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort and the USTA National Campus in Orlando. More than 2,500 athletes from across the state will compete in seven sports: track and field, basketball, soccer, bocce, cycling, cheerleading and tennis. The Games begin with Opening Ceremonies at 7:45 p.m. Thursday. Events continue Friday with competitions. The Games celebrate inclusion and ability, uniting athletes, coaches, families and volunteers from all over Florida in one of the year’s largest statewide events.
