Ocoee High to perform 'Hadestown: Teen Editon'

Performances will take place from Wednesday, April 15, to Saturday, April 18.

The Ocoee High School's Theatre Company is hosting its performance of "Hadestown: Teen Edition" from Wednesday, April 15, to Saturday, April 18, at the school's auditorium, 1925 Ocoee Crown Point Parkway, Ocoee. 

"Hadestown: Teen Edition" follows the stories of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone, guiding the audience on a musical journey between the world we live in and the underworld. 

The musical has been readapted for teen actors and family members, focusing on themes of love, hope and resilience.

“Our students are creating something truly special,” Director Kris Kahn said. “Their commitment, imagination and professionalism breathe new life into the world of "Hadestown" and we cannot wait to share their work with the community.”

Tickets vary from $13.16 to $21.58.
