Orange County Sheriff's Office to host Shred-a-Thon

The free event will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 2, at Olympia High School.

People can safely dispose of that pile of documents sitting in their house during Orange County Sheriff's Office's Shred-a-Thon.

The free event will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 2, at Olympia High School, 4301 S. Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando.

Place the documents in the trunk of your vehicle to have them shredded.

No registration is needed, and prescription drug disposal also will be available.
