New sidewalks to be installed along Hartzog Road

Orange County District 1 Commissioner Nicole Wilson shared pedestrian news for West Orange County. 

According to her announcement, Orange County Public Works will be installing new sidewalks at two locations along Hartzog Road in Horizon West. These sidewalks, she said, will benefit the walking path for children attending Ovation Elementary School. 

One sidewalk will be added at Luna Harvest Avenue and Hartzog Road providing a small segment of sidewalk, as well as curb ramps and signage to create the pedestrian crossing from the north side of Hartzog Road to the new school campus. 

The second location will be located between two subdivisions along the north side of Hartzog Road and east of the new school campus.
