The Chain of Lakes Animal Clinic has partnered with Harbor House, an organization dedicated to servicing victims of domestic abuse, to help victims' pets as well.

Now, the clinic is asking for monetary donations to care for the animals. Donations will help provide animals in need with medical exams and treatments, vaccinations and preventive care, emergency and supportive care, and a second chance at a happy, healthy life.

"Every donation helps a pet feel better and find a brighter tomorrow," the vet's announcement said. "Every dollar makes a difference."

Donations can be made from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, at 14387 Bridgewater Crossings Blvd., Suite 100, Windermere.

For questions, call (407) 554-4304.
