Hamlin's Maple Street Biscuit Company transitioning to Biscuit Belly

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has sold its brand, the Maple Street Biscuit Company, to Biscuit Belly July 20. 

In the deal, 16 Maple Street locations will close nationwide while 35 will continue to operate under Biscuit Belly's brand. The 35 stores remaining open includes Hamlin's 16027 New Independence Pkwy #100, Winter Garden, location. 

The transformation from Maple Street to Biscuit Belly will happen over two years with initial conversions beginning in January 2027. 

Biscuit Belly was founded in 2019 by Chad and Lauren Coulter and franchised since 2020, opening its first location in Kentucky and grew in popularity for its Southern comfort foods and scratch-made biscuits.
