An Oakland Avenue Charter School math coach and intervention specialist has been named a 2026 Charter School Champion of the Year.

Nicole Puhr was named the Charter School Champion of the Year in the teacher division.

The Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools presented the award to 19 winners in different categories for the 2025-2026 school year.
