Road closure to take place in Windermere

The intersection of Lake Butler Boulevard and Maguire Road will be closed overnight Monday, May 4, to Tuesday, May 5.

The town of Windermere announced an overnight intersection closure to take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, May 4, to Tuesday, May 5.

The intersection of Lake Butler Boulevard and Maguire Road will be closed for stormwater improvements as part of the Safe Routes to School project.

The intersection will remain open during the day and will not impact school traffic.

Drivers will be able to access South Lake Boulevard and Lake Butler Boulevard via Park Avenue and Wauseon Drive.

The town asks drivers to drive safely and be cautious.
