Three Windermere High boys weightlifters advance to the state meet

Charlie Anthony, Duece Forrester and Chasen Olson-Rivera will compete in states.

The Windermere High boys weightlifting team celebrated a successful regional meet and three of its lifters will advance to the Class 3A State Championship from Wednesday, May 6, to Friday, May 8.

Charlie Anthony won the regional championship in olympic's 169-pound weight class by lifting 455. Duece Forrester also won regional champ in the UNL of traditional with 590 and Chasen Olson-Rivera was the runner-up in olympic and traditional. 

All three of the Wolverines' lifters advanced themselves to the Class 3A State Championship at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida Wednesday, May 6, to Friday, May 8.
