Students at Dr. Phillips High went above and beyond to take home the Khanathalon trophy for proficiency and mastery in the category math and reading.

“We are now nationally recognized for earning the highest number of Khan Academy learning hours in Reading and Math across the entire country, showcasing our students’ commitment to mastery and growth,” the school posted. “We’re also proud to share that DPHS also ranked 5th in the nation for SAT prep on Khan Academy — a testament to the hard work of our students and teachers.”

Some Panthers even had the opportunity to meet the creator of Khan Academy, Sal Khan.

The school gave a special kudos to Dr. Pagan Oliveiras, for his SAT prep classes.

“Our Panthers continue to lead, learn and elevate what’s possible,” the school posted.
