New fibroid program at AdventHealth Winter Garden

AdventHealth Winter Garden has announced the launch of its newest program, the Comprehensive Fibroid Program. 

It's a new option for fibroid care for the West Orange residents. 

According to the hospital's announcement, this program is the first of its kind in Central Florida --  with a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating uterine fibroids.

The program provides sophisticated and collaborative care from board-certified and fellowship-trained gyno surgeon, and interventional radiologists and hematologists. 

"Knowing that no single treatment is best for everyone, we’ll evaluate your unique situation and discuss your options, including watchful waiting, medical therapy and surgery," the announcement said. "Together, we’ll create a plan that meets your immediate needs, considers your fertility and helps you feel whole."
