Oakland schedules Spring Clean Up days

Residents are asked to have items on the curb Saturday, May 9, and Saturday, May 16.

It's time for spring cleaning, and the town of Oakland is ready to help its residents.

The town has scheduled 2026 Spring Clean Up days for Saturday, May 9, and Saturday, May 16.

Residents are asked to have their items curbside by 7 a.m.

The items collected can be household items less than 50 pounds, recycling, small furniture and mattresses.

Items that will not be collected include yard waste, hazardous waste, electronics, paint and batteries.
